anybody here use or used roller tip steel rockers? thinking of getting the summitt ones.............

Lots of people use them with great sucess. You need to consider a few things though. Usualy aftermarket rockers can cause valve cover clearance issues. Also, aluminum ones aren't the best choice for street use since they tend to wear out fast. Last but not least you need to make sure that the new rockers will not push the lift limits past the max lift of your stock heads. That is if you have a cam of course.

Agreed. I've got a cheap set of stamped steel rockers with the roller tip I bought from Summit a while back on my current 383 blower motor. They work just super. I wanted to go with aluminum full roller rockers but they wouldn't easily fit under my valve covers and caused marginal pushrod problems with my AFR aluminum heads. All fixable, of course, but I had the roller tipped ones laying around that didn't cause these issues so I used them.
