What about Accel copper core wires?

I just got to wandering about my spark plug wires. They are Accel copper cores, they basically look like 12 gauge wires with protectice coating. Is this causing me any harm? Also, wouldn't you think that these would last forever? Just want to get everyones thoughts on this.

solid cores work great.

if you don't have any trouble with radio noise or interference with signals to/from your ECM or ignition module then don't worry. You may not be able to use a car/cell phone around them though.

I don't know about the ECM signals, this is basically why I asked. Yet my radio is great, and no problems with my cell phone.
