Where is the fuel filter?

I want to change my fuel filter but don't know where it's at. I have a '92 Z28 TPI 305. Can someone help me out? Also, is it difficult and/or time consuming? Thanks.

It's towards the rear of the car on the driver's side. For some reason I can't picture "exactly" where it is but I wanna use the rear tire for refrence. I think it's a little in front of the rear tire and towards the driver/center of the undercarriage. it's much "funner" when you have a lift b/c when I try to get the new one on there gas always runs down my arm and burns MORE then a bite from satan.

The fuel filter is located under the car, on the drivers side, back by the rear LCA perch. Should be relatively easy to replace, just make sure you depressurize the system. (or work real quick ) The fittings may be rusted, so use some WD-40 or equivalent to help break loose.

ok thanks...i was bout to spend $45 at the shop to get it installed. I should try doing it myself. Doesn't sound like I need any special tools. How do I depressurize the system?

when i do mine, all i do is take the gas cap off, wear saftey goggles, and make sure not to twist the fuel lines off when removing the filter. you should only lose a few drops of gas
