Timing

Hey guys I need alittle help here. I just failed smog thanks to two things timing and forgeting to put on the belt for the air pump(ooooppsss!) I have an 1986 IROC 305tpi, blah blah. Does any one know what the ini timing is suppose to be? He failed me with 14 BTDC and I thought the timing was suppose to be around 10?Thanks

should be on the sticker under the hood or in your manual. WAG is either 6* or zero
