i have a 67 283 in my camaro that's coming out and a 350 is going in. the 283 has a new 6 3/4" damper on it, and the 350 is an 87. would i be able to use the small one off the old engine, because i don't have a big one thats balanced or whatever it is that's special, if anything about the 87+ ones?

 

it should interchange just fine. only possiable problem would be timing mark in differant location.
