a couple of problems
Hello, I'm new here and I could use a little help, first off I just put in a 350 tbi in place of the 305 and now that its in there it runs rough (keeping in mind I got it from a junkyard and I have no idea how long its been sitting and it came out of an 89 half ton p/u) the only things that still need replaced are the cap and rotor. I'm using the 305 tbi could that be an issue?
Secondly the map lights on the rearview don't work, how would I check those or change the bulbs
anyhow any help is appreciated

the timing is set (although it could be off I have it at 2* btdc) thats what I got out of the haynes manual. how big of a differance is there between the 305 injectors and the 350 injectors? by the way the 5.7 ones don't look like they would be any good. I was looking at the holley 670 cfm tbi and holley seems to think they have corrected thier problems so would that work??
what about the mirror lights?
thanks for responding back so soon

As found on the Internet, 305 TBI injectors flow 44 lb/hr and 350 TBI injectors flow 55 lb/hr.
Not sure about the Holley TBI system, though you might want to search the TBI message board. I'm sure that it's been discussed.
The map lights in the mirror are tied into the car's accessory circuit. If your radio and interior lights still work, then the fuse isn't blown. The bulbs are likely burned out... I'm not sure of the replacement procedure. I didn't even think that a '90 would have mirror lights.
