Blowing Taillight/Gauge Fuse

Everytime i turn OFF my headlights, my taillights/dash lights fuse blows. I have replaced the Headlight Switch but that didn't help.

Any Ides?

no, only one goes up or it gpes up only halfway. Rarely do both go up.

wonder if there's a connection between this and the fuse blowing?

My friend's bird had the headlight wiring get caught in the door, and eventually rubbed through most of the wire.... You might have the same problem only a bit worse... whenever your headlights turn off a "bare" wire might be touching metal..

i had the same problem. Took out the headlight motors and checked the platic bushing in the motor assembly. Replaced motors and everything ok now. Check those motors thats where your problem is.
