Anyone else with an extremely clean undercarriage have this problem? Every few thousand miles I have to get under the car with simple green and a rag to remove a small dirt/oil film that has developed on the side of my block. I am certain the leak is NOT coming from the valve covers. I have $50 vc gakets, a one-piece rubber oil pan gasket, and the best head gaskets money can buy. I've about decided to stop starting the car

Just be glad its not your rear main. Theres oil on the oil pan, tranny pan, starter...its damn near everywhere!
