is my egr valve going bad?
at highway speeds, or maybe its just when im cruising, the car is jerky, with light gas, it jerks pretty bad like its randomly cutting off fuel.
ive replaced wires/plugs/cap/(cleaned up rotor tip)
someone suggested egr valve. could that cause this problem as well?

A bad EGR valve will not be felt at normal driving conditions. It could cause a little stumble or rich condiction at idle followed by a little ping. You will not feel anything at cruising speeds.

well actually, i noticed yesterday and day before that my idle actually stayed steady at 1500 for a long time, later in the day it finally went down to the normal 700 or so.
