Don't use anything but Ac delco regulars. no ac delco rapidfires, no champions, no NGK, no Bosch
I run a blower and I use AC Delco R43TS and they work great. No detonation. And they're only $9.76 for 8. Woo hoo

Spark plugs are a little like companions. (I was going to say "women", but the same could probably apply either way.) We all can agree on those that look good, but not necessarily on those we can live with.
I've always had good luck with Champions in ANY engine. AC/Delco platinums are good (the true platinums, not the "platinum-enhanced" ones). NGKs seem to be reliable but hard to find in the correct heat ranges and sizes for American engines. They seem to be a little better in the extra hot ranges. Bosch was O.K. once, but I have a feeling they have slipped a little in recent years (or the other manufacturers are catching up and passing them). Their true platinums are probably still O.K.
As for the "designer" plugs, forget them. You know the ones. They have multiple electrodes shaped like the Backstreet Boys' hairdos, or some ultra-high tech metallurgy that is "proprietary" so that they can't tell you what it really is, or those that have a fixed perimeter gap like a marine engine plug, or those with a fancy (read "expensive") colored insulator and anodized shell that makes them look better.
Between AC/Delco and Champion, there are probably seventy-eleven quadrillion error-free sparks every day in the world. And the last time I checked only Champion and Auburn were good enough to get an FAA approval for aircraft engines. Who is reliable now? I guess it doesn't matter in your car though. You can always get out and walk. I'm a little too lazy for that.
By the way, here's an AC/Delco under "stress":
(Actually, that isn't completely fair - this car really needed a tune-up about five years before I saw it. That should say something about AC/Delco reliability, too.)

Bad RS,
By the way, could you maybe condense your signature a little. Not necessarily remove anything, but try to run it in longer lines with spacers. I had to scroll down a whole page just to see the second post.
It's good to see all the informaton there to avoid unnecessary questions, but it does take a lot of vertical space.
Not a big thing, just a suggestion.
