one fan workes the other doesn't HELP!!
Hey! I was under the hood the other day (been spending way to much time there the past few weeks) when I seen only one fan working. I went direct to the fan with a hot wire and it worked. checked the relay on the passenger side had juice comming in but not out. Jumped two wires there and the fan worked. replaced the relay and the fan still does not work. Is there any other relay or something else to check?? HELP!!!
One of the fans is not supposed to come on until the engine gets really hot, I think its the pass. side, but I could be wrong.

Right. The passenger side fan on my '90 IROC didn't come on until about 250*F, so I replaced the sending unit on the passenger side of the engine block with a 220*F one. It looks like a coolant temperature sensor, and well, actually it is, just not the one the ECM uses for fuel metering (that one's under the throttle body). Much better now.
