Teflon on head bolts?

Teflon on head bolts?

I saw on e-bay some new head bolts for sale with teflon on them the ARP bolts I just bought dont have that. Is it liquid teflon teflon tape or do I even need it? If I should use it what do I buy?

You do need sealant on the head bolts (the liquid thread sealant works good)...

you need some sort of non hardening sealer on the head bolts, among others, to prevent leaks. i use loctite PST liquid teflon

i just use pipe dope that you can find at any hardware shop (pipe dope is liquid teflon)
