Problem with 24# SVO Injectors...

i gave them to my mechanic to put in my car durring the rebuild and he called me earlier to tell me the injectors are smaller than the stock ones and that the o-rings were too small... anyone got any info on how i can get the SVO's to go in properly? Im going to the shop tomorrow morning, so anything you guys can tell me to tell my mechanic would be appriciated. thanks guys

You have to remove and discard the 'O' rings from the injectors, and install new GM 'O' rings. The Ford setup uses a smaller bore in the intakes and fuel distribution tubes, thus the smaller cross section of the 'O' rings. The rest of the injector dimensions should be the same.
