LT1 cam questions..

Transmission: 700r4, 700r4, T-56
Axle/Gears: 3.07, 373, 4.10
LT1 cam questions..
Why does the LT1 cam have a gear to drive the dist on it? is it simply used to drive the oil pump on an lt1? do they also come with a lobe for the fuel pump? just a few things I was wondering about.....

and the fuel pump lobe on a cam drives the pushrod to a mechanical fuel pump on a sbc. that really isnt a good explination but I guess thats kinda what I'm tryin to say. haha
