Where can I get these parts?...
1.I need a new ignition key cylinder thingy (don't know the tech. name)
2.I need new hatch shocks and hood shocks (Hood shocks I've seen for sale at Camaro Resource but not the hatch ones)
3.I would also like a new Iroc hood (I own an 86 Iroc), but I don't one that's stock, I'd rather have one thats functional, but still looks like the stock hood.

I just saw the ignition key cylinder at pep boys for around $12 if I remember right and the shocks too. I don't recall how much the hood shocks were but the rear hatch ones were about $35 each. I'm using my golf umbrella right now on mine

Hey don't buy the Hatch shocks from a GM Dealership it cost me almost $200.00 for both because I was told that was the only place I could get them from. I saw them in a JWhitney catalog about 1month later for like $35.00! It just makes me sick.
Any local car shop (Strauss, Pep Boys, Auto Zone ect) will have the hatch shocks. I just bought a set for mine and it was about $80. The front ones are a little less expensive. You should be able to get an ignition key ay Pep Bosy but they shouldnt cost too much at a dealer.
i replaced all four shocks with pep boys ones.cost: around $110. the rear shocks took a sh*t after only 1 1/2 years....but the hood ones are still good after 2 years. ( doesn't make sense though...i opened the hood more times than the hatch

As for the oil-damped nitrogen gas springs for the hatch, try to get the ones for the Trans Am with a rear deck spoiler. They are harder to find, but have a slightly higher pressure than those designed for a standard 'F' car hatch. The same is tru for the TA hood, since it is a bit longer and heavier than the Camaro and Firebird SC.
Make sure the mountings are identical. (Gas spring, Hatch - ProLift 92003 or 0374952003; about twenty bucks each at Larry, Curly, and Moe's with a lifetime warranty.)

Opened the hood more than the hatch? Sounds like a true thirdgenner!
I replaced all of the lift shocks one mine (hood and hatch) and paid like $50 - 60 range at Advance Auto. Now the hatch will open itself when just turning the key (unless the seal sticks good)!

Working on:
'84 Z28 LG4 305 with 200,000 original miles!
Added dual elec fans.
145 MPH IROC Speedo
Building 430 HP 350 (ZZ430)
using primarily GMPP parts.
Short block sitting on a stand.
Starting to look like the Kicker poster child!
