Hey all, I have an opportunity to pick up a modified 350,
Just wondering what you guys would think a fair price would be.

specs:
4 bolt main, Bored to 355, flat top pistons (don't know compression yet),
vortec heads, single plane intake, LT1 camshaft,

The guy who is selling it was dragging it in a nova, he says he ran it about 30 times, and other then that just used it as an occasional driver. about 30k on it. Also says he was running low 12's, (car weight ~3200lbs)

I was looking to do a simple 350 build for my first attempt to throw in my firebird, and this was pretty much what I was looking to build, except I want a bit wilder cam. So what would you pay for it if anything? Thanks for any advice.

 

depends, the car must be really light to be pulling 12's with that combo.. Don't know if I believe that or if hes just trying to sell the engine... maybe 500?

 

Yeah, I'm waiting to see the slips and from the track and the car to prove that quater mile time. And thats what I was hoping to hear about the price. Thanks alot!
