<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">m Interested in Roadracing/autoX With My Camaro, Not So Much Drag.
My PS Has been out For a while, And Instead of just replacing hte pump I had considerd
Going to Manual steering. I really like the stiffer, More absolute feel On the street.
The only Thing is, I dont want to Do something that is going to Make Roadracing
Impossible.
What are your Opinions on this ? Any of you Guys using manual steering in the twisties ?
Thanks.
BTW, I would be using an S10 box most likely, unless anyone else has any brilliant Ideas )

One thing to think about...
If you go auto-crossing, you will want wide tires, wide tires turn even harder than reg. tires even with P/S.
I would think you would want to make it easier to turn while going through the twisties.
If its tough to turn now, it will be worse with other tires.

Thanks For the Replies guys.
Well, Manual steering isnt as hard as Non Functioning PS.
I Actually like the "hardness" Of it, But I just want to know if its going to Make Racing impossible, Cause I know right Now that it would be really hard In Tight, low speed turns to hold a Line, fighting the steering as it is
High speed its no problem, obviously, and it feels alot more in control and Solid than PS does.
