Turning L98 IROC-Z into a 12 second car
My goal is to make a humble IROC-Z equipped with an L98 and 700R4 into a 12 second rocket. What upgrades would you recommend for this? Here is what I'm considering:
Accel TPI base
SLP TPI runners
Stock plenum ported
SLP CAI
150HP nitrous shot
Vigilante converter with a 2,600 RPM stall speed
Hooker Supercomp headers
Flowmaster 3" catback system(dual 2.5" exits)
Depending on money I might get a set of AFR 195cc heads.
I'm also getting a new cam, I don't really know a lot about them. I need something that will give me a good torque and horsepower curve. Not just lots of top-end power.

i'd start with all the free mods, headers, cat back, AFPR, port the runners, heads, good tune up, converter and vett servo. might not get you in the 12s but you'd sure be on your way
