Any way to convert an FI Perf. Kit (K&N) to fit my TBI?

I've seen these kits converted to attach to third-gens.

http://www.knfilters.com/fipk.htm

Is this actually possible or was i just dreaming? I was thinking of doing this to my '91 RS (V8) as it looks like it works better than an open-element, more cold air.

Anyone know how this can be done?
