If it's the same as my 77 P/U it's simple. I'm trying to remember how I did mine, but it was 5 years ago. I do remember that it took around 3 hours and a 6 pack. Nothing hard for me. I had a lot of room to do it though so you might have some issues if you have A/C. I do know it comes out under the pass. side dash.

If I remember I'll post again or if you have specific questions that might jar my aging memory feel free to ask.
