Who has a solid lifter cam
There is some member on this board who has a comp cam 294* magnum solid lifter cam with .525 on both sides...and a powerband of 2500-6500....I need to know what size stall to use with this cam cause i have one sitting in my room and I reallly want to use it rather than use a hydraulic extreme energy cam...

Have you tried going to Comps website and looking it up? I go there many times to look up recommended stalls. It isnt that difficult.

If you're using a th350 trans you'd want to get a 10" 3500 stall converter for this cam.
if you really want to maximize the launch then try advancing to cam further than the cam card calls for.
dial it in at a 102/103 degree intake c/L. Out of the box is 106.
its all in the details.

I'm running the 294 but only have a 9.5" 3,000 stall. Might get it changed but so far, it seems to do pretty good. Haven't been to the track yet but hopefully soon since a 9 inch rear is going in.
