Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, 3.23 non-LS
Orientation of this thing matter?

dumb question, but does this thing need to be vertical like this, or can it be on its side (horizontal)?

It's already been established that size doesn't matter, and apparently, orientation doesn't matter any more either.

At least that diverter valve won't care if it's "straight" or not, even if many of the rest of us have similar concerns.

Turn it on its side if you wish.
