Where can I find a purge TVS?

Where can I find a purge TVS?
I need a purge TVS for my 85 305 LG4. I was replacing the vacuum hoses on the car and I guess the purge TVS had gone so long without maintenence that it broke apart when I tried to seperate it from the vacuum hoses that were connected to it.
I checked Autozone, Pepboys and a GM dealer in my town and none of them say they have that part (actually Autozone said it was a special order part, so I might try that again). The GM dealer told me that the part was discontinued years ago and that I should check w/ NAPA to find it. However, he may have been talking about a different part entirely because he told me it was called an EFE actuator valve or something (GM P/N 5234845) and I know the purge doesn't even go to the EFE at all.
If I can't find this part, would it hurt anything just to plug it?
