shifting point of cam
I am still looking for a cam, I have a few in mind though. Before I give them I will say that I am looking for a cam that will make peak hp BEFORE or at 6,000 RPM and after or at 5,000 RPM. It will be a street engine. All of the parts should be able to withstand well past 6,000 RPM. It is a 9.6 compression ratio 355. Trick Flow 23 heads Kenny Dutteweiler series with 1.6 rockers(195intake volume and 64 combustion chamber). Stealth Ram intake, tuneble ECM, 30 lb injectors. Hooker long tube headers.
I am looking at the LT4 hot cam, Crower 471, Crane 104227, 109831. Comp XM276HR, NX 276HR, and 276HR-14. They are mainly cams in the 218-236 duration range.
I am not using nitrous, I just liked the exhaust profile. I can deal with the idle, it is a T-5 for now. The crower looks good, I am just not too excited about the 110 lobe seperation, I know it can be done.

The stealth ram is a fan of the larger LSA's i think.
Remember, which ever cam you get, you can always advance/retard the cam to fine tune its power curve.
