Looking for Hybrid.....

ok...maybe one of you. great Thirdgeners would know this....I am looking for a late 80's early 90's special edition Camaro or Firebird called I think..."Carello" or something like that...

It had the body of the Camaro or Firebird...but more body features like custom fenders...more of an aero package...it also had no aeroback window..the nose of the car was pointed..sorta like the 70's Superbird....I know they exsisted..because I have seen them from time to time...and my ex-girlfriends new boyfriend had one..when I split from her in 1991..

Sounds like an add-on body kit; not anything factory or "special edition" or any of that, just some aftermarket stuff you can buy and stick on.

There used to be a number of companies making them when these cars were newer. I guess nowadays they've all switched to Hondas and Neons since that's where that market all went.

OK it looks simular to this Tojan Firebird except this Hybrid was not a convertible...It was a hard top...called "Carrello" 0r "Cavello"
or some thing like that....The fenders on this Tojan is very close to the car I am talking about...this car was in production..becuase there was a car lot trying to sell three of them in 1991...so I know this was no fab job...

It's not factory, no matter how many of them that car lot might have had with the kit installed on them. It's still an aftermarket kit.
