Gasket Question
Gasket Question
Replacing the intake gaskets on my 90 Formula (305 TPI) and everything is going fine, except I can't get the old baked on gasket off the heads around the exhaust crossovers. Its hard as a rock, and chemical gasket remover won't touch it. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Anohter weapon for your arsenal would be a utility knife where the blade goes in the end of the handle instead of parallel to it, to make a "razor scraper"... Sears has this

I got mine off last week after they have been on there for 16 years. Just get a spot started with a paint scraper. After you get a little part of it up, you should be able to pull big chunks off. The hard part is getting it started.
