Firing on all 8?
Firing on all 8?
I had a wire burn up on my exhaust a while back. Looks ok and it shows 0 ohms on my DMM but the outter skin has burned off completely...I'd like to know if the idle should change slightly if I pull a plug wire while the engine is running, I'm not sure my motor is running on all eight.
If I pull a plug wire, I should hear a difference in the tone correct?

Don't I know it! Went to see why I had some drivability problems the other day and went to change the timing...grabbed the dist and found out the #4 boot was loose the hard way - ZAP! It's really quite a rush. Seriously if you have a loose wire you'll know something's really wrong.

Hey, if one of your wires falls off the plug, don't try putting it back on the plug with the engine running like I did while I was hanging on to the fender.........ZAPP!!!
