How do you know if your balancer is bad? Is a 6 3/4 alright on a 350?

The balancer was only a month old when I brought it but know that I am thinking about it how do I know they did not use a hammer to get it off? What the sighnes, iti s a oem replacment one from summit, it look like it was in good shape whenI looked at it, is the size okay for a 350 that does not go over 5,000 rpm? Thanks

if you got it from summit it's new. if you bought it used and someone used a hammer there would be hammer marks on it. if you're thinking the outter ring has moved only thing i can think of is to use a degree type timing light and see where the marks fall.
