Valve Seals
I want to replace the valve seals but I'm not sure what to buy.
I'ed like to run the positive. type but machineing my heads in order to use them is not an option. In my searches I hear that the umbrella ones should be avoided. So I cant run the positive ones and to stay away from the umbrella type so what should I use?Any names, part #'s,and material type will be helpfull.

The umbrella type are a whole lot better than the O-rings, which are near worthless.
Fel Pro makes some for the intakes that fit most stock valve guides; I'd get a set of those, and not worry about the exhausts. Just use the umbrellas on those.

I've got the factory heads still
my car came with.88 350 TPI.
This week I've got to do a header install(SLP),tune up,BBK AFPR, and the switch to the 1LE brake setup before Third Gen Fest and I need to get it all done this week so I have next week for wash/wax,shampoo interrior, detail engine bay, clean wheeles. So I need to hit the parts store ASAP. Does anybody have the FelPro part numbers for the umbrella seals and any posi seals that will work with my stock heads?I need the ones people have had the best luck with. I plan on useing the umbrellas on the exhaust and the best I can find on the intake, plus the O rings on both. I think it would be a waste of time to use the O rings only.I have no faith in the guy at the parts counter to give me the rite ones.
RB83L69 do you have a part number for the FelPro posi seals that fit most stock valve guides that you mentioned?
Thanks for all and any help you guys can give.
