Car: 1991 Z28
Engine: 5.7L TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Timing ?
I know this is gonna sound stupid, but does anyone know offhand what the timing is supposed to be set at on a 1991 Z28 5.7?? Also, what do I have to disconnect to bypass the computer trying to adjust the timing so that I can time it with the distribuitor???

There's a connector in the engine bay on the passenger side near the fan, it needs to be disconnected. Timing is set IAW your decal, usually 6deg BTDC. DO a search, there is a tech article on it on the main page.
