Timing? Fuel? HELP!

Okay I finally managed to check my timing today without the car dying so here's what I'm working with.

I'm at about 14* initial right now and the car wont stay idling for more than 15 seconds or so. That 15 seconds is about as long as I can get the car to idle without it dying. Add timing- dies faster... retard timing- dies even faster.

Could this idle problem be a result of an inadequate amount of fuel? My injectors were intended for a stock 305 tbi. Check my sig for what mods I've done.

Otherwise, do you guys have any ideas/suggestions for what the problem may be?

Are you running with the stock PROM? If so that is your problem right there. I assume you are dissconnecting the EST before you set the timing. You should still be able to get the car to idle with a heads and cam swap on the stock tune. However, anything past that and I gaurantee you the car will not like it. I would look into chip burning right away.

K I'm assuming this is the continuation of this problem.

If so, try to keep it together. To help we need to know the problem, which I assume has to do with this.

What is your fuel pressure at? Do you have an AFPR? And are you really sure you have the distributor in correctly? Firing order double checked?

Okay first off, I've already got a custom EPROM.

Secondly, this problem is not a continuation of the previous post, that is why I started a new post. I finally managed to set the timing with the EST unhooked.

I'm sure my distributor is in correctly. Double, Triple, Quadrup... checked it! I'm sure the plug wiring is correct as well... checked, checked and checked again. Not sure of fuel pressure and don't know what an AFPR is.
