1.6 or 1.5 rockers????

I have a 355 with edelbrocks rpm performer cam. the lift on the cam is .488 and .510. Should I get 1.5 rockers or 1.6. If I get 1.6 do have to get different lifters and pushrods? What is the differance between the two. Thanks

You won't need new rockers, lifters or pushrods, but you for sure will need to shorten your valve guides and get new springs (assuming you haven't already). I would go with the 1.6s to get more lift assuming you think the car has enough intake and all to handle more lift. That will bring the lift at .520/.544 which is pretty extreme. I am running .498/.498 lift with my LT4 HOT Cam with the 1.52 rockers, and that is probably too much lift for my car as it is now. Just somthing to consider.

Look at your edelbrock cam card, it says do NOT use anything but 1.5 ratio rockers. Why it says that I dont know but it does.
