What are some good cost free Engine Mods todo other than Homemade Ram Air??? I've made the homemade Ram-Air and I'll post them up on thirdgen sometime or later.....

 

There are lots of things you can do. You can port your TPI plenum if you have a Dremel and some grinding bits (I take it your car is TPI since its an IROC). You can advance your ignition timing to make more power, just don't advance it too far or it will cause detonation and then the computer will retard the hell out of it. There is also things like the throttle body coolant by-pass (there is a tech article about this in the articles section of this site), you can remove the screens from your MAF sensor, gut your catalytic converter if you don't have to worry about emissions, you can remove the space saver spare tire and jack to reduce your weight. Anything else am I missing guys??

Remove smog pump, air tubes, and etc. from emissions. It also makes it easier to change the plugs!
