89305TPI. New dynomax cat, new plugs, new fuel filter, clean airfilter, clean IAC and TB, removed A.I.R system...pump still on though. (I removed the lines to the exhaust manifold...no visuals here in Toronto).
Will I pass??
Car smokes slightly at startup occasionally but otherwise idles perfect and runs great.

Probably, I wasn't able to get my carb. engine to pass without the A.I.R. hooked up though.

 

Any other inputs from TPI guys? I don't have my diverter valve...does it allow oxygen to enter the cat when car is fully warmed?...I'm guessing that's what it does ... and during cold operation after startup, it allows air into the exhaust manifolds?

My friend tried to pass with no air pump and made almost a 50 on the Hc. The standard was a 1.5 at the time now it's a .8. I doubt you'll pass without the air setup. You can try to pour some denatured alchohal in your gas tank.
