URGENT vacuum line, where should it run to

The car is a 1990 L98. Was changing spark plugs and noticed that directly between the 6 and 8 plug (i think its 6 and 8 passenger side 2 closest to the passenger compartment) and about a half of an inch up there is something that screws into the head that has a connection that could only fit a hose that im assuming is some sort of vacuum line? But nothing is attached to it should there be?

That isn't a vacuum thing; it's the fan switch. There should be an electrical connection there.

Primary IIRC, secondary is controlled by the ECM.

Definately the fan switch though, looks like the plastic skirt on it is broken off though. New one from napa is about $20.

save your 20$ and get a cable lug. works fine and costs almost nothing.
