HELP major problem

@#$( I pulled the intake because the gasket blew and got it ready to put back last night. I left it and came out today and the gas line to the carb started leaking into the block... Probably a few gallons by now. I'm sure the oil is thin as crap now... Will this hurt my rings/seals etc? How bad am I screwed? Can I just change the oil and run in a few miles and change it again!!!! AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Just change the oil. No big deal at all, no kind of permanent harm or anything.

When I worked in a VW workshop for 5 yrs on leaving school (LONG TIME AGO) this happened alot when the fuel pump gasket failed. On a routine oil change we would drain the sump to discover that the engine was full of fuel for how long who knows? We would fix the gasket and replace the oil without any apparant problems but on your car I think it would be wise to replace the oil after a short run. You could put the drained oil in your Wifes/Girlfriends/Mothers ***** so as not to waste it!

It looked like it was half leaking over the head port to a cylinder. I had it plugged with a paper towl but if there is some gas pooled in there should it air out over night, or should I pull the plug and see if I can tell if there is gas in it? It will still be a day or so before I get the rest of it back on. Got the intake on tonight.

Thanks guys!
