Need Help!
yesterday i replaced the coolant temperature sensor. I had to take off the TB and some wires..put it all back. When i tried to start it it wouldnt hold an idle. I thought i messed up and had a vacuum leak..took it off and nope no leak.
I checked codes and got a 34 for MAF..went and got a new one. Still the same. If u dont unplug the MAF it wont idle. If you do, it will somewhat with the idle going from 400 to 1200 then back down. It will at least run. What the hell? I need ideas...BTW its running a code 34

Graeme,
Clear the codes and reinitialize the ECm, then try again. If the old CTS was indeed bad, teh ECM will have to "learn" the new one and the correct values all over again, so it can write the new fuel and spark tabels correctly with the new sensor input.
