Do they make K & N air filters to fit under my power bulge hood?

I have a carborated 350 in my 1983 TA. I have a functional power bulge hood. I wanted to put an air filter on my engine. Do they make the small K & N air filters to fit on my car, in order to fit in that small opening? Do I need an air filter? When I bought the car a few months ago, It didnt have one on it. Thanks.

The power bulge has no filter just a screen. Remove the louvre door and solenoid and let your car breathe for a gain in performance.

Yes they make a filter for the stock air cleaner assembely. I got mine from advance autoparts, they actually had one.. Just go there or somewhere and they can order you a KN for your application it was 35 dollars or so... Kevin

Yes-you ABSOLUTELY need an air filter! If not, you'll be sucking dust, dirt, and other crap straight into your engine.
