Radiator and spark plug questions...

Anyone else have problems with the plastic side tanks on the radiator cracking? Is there a reasonably priced alterative? I ask because at the moment my radiator is being replaced. Also I am having a lower temp thermostat put in (180-190). Is there any need to go with a different temperature spark plug? This is something a mechanic suggested. Thanks for the help.

Radiators are a maintenance item. The brass/copper kind are a little more durable but weigh a whole lot more.

There's no particular reason to change spark plug heat range because the coolant temp is leing lowered. If the car has a tendency to ping or run on, cooler plugs can help; other than that, just use what the book calls for and you'll be fine.
