all 3rd gen owners inside!

for anyone who is doing a non a/c conversion, you know the boxes are hard to find. they are made of steel and are often rusty.

buddy of mine just installed a 94+ s10 non a/c box under the hood and it fits like a glove with some slight trimming. you have to move it a bit and drill some new holes, but it covers the hole in the firewall and looks really classy. ITS PLASTIC TOO, so no rust to worry about.

you can get them from the dealer for like 40 bucks. couple of hours worth of work and you have something different than everyone else, till it becomes a trend.

he works offshore and i didnt have my camera, i can have pics up next week if anyone is interested.

I would def. be interested in pictures if you could get some. I've been wanting to do an NON-A/C conversion for a while... but the box is expensive, and hard to find.

wow $100 for a box. I remember last year I went to some junkyard and saw three non-AC camaros. I still have no idea why I didn't grab them all up.
