war eis my feul filter ? (86 IROC-Z)

hey guys i am going to buy a new filter for my car as part of the tune up im doing but instead of wasting time looking for it i was wondering ware the feul filter is located on my car. the car is an 86 iroc with a 305 tpi engine and its auto if that matters.

Should be right in front of the rear axle on the driver's side.

Use two wrenches to crack it open or you'll end twisting the lines.

Loosen the fuel cap and do one of two things...

1. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge that has a pressure relief system in it and let the pressurized fuel flow into a container

or...


2. Pull the fuel pump fuse and start the motor until it dies. Crank it over once or twice more and your ok.
