Ok.. here's the story... I figured I'd come here and be happy around people who'd be happy for me

Anyway... A month or so ago, we (my wife and I) traded for this ratted-out 84 Z28.. Well it's in rough shape, but I figured it had potential. Well the guy had a nearly COMPLETE SPARE maroon interior for it that I didnt know about (!), and a BUNCH of spare parts. The car was originally a 305HO/5spd, but by the time it got to me, it had no engine. Well, having a BUNCH of spare parts laying around, i threw together a junkyard 350 for around $350, and put it in. Well I got the engine in (finally) and fixed the clutch so it now works (!) and tomorrow I'm gonna finish plumbing and wiring the engine. I also have 2 spare doors that are going on the car and a lot of other stuff.

I'm just glad I got to save another third gen that would have otherwise gone to the junkyard
