Engine: 2.8MPFI V-6 and 350TPI 5.7 liter V
Transmission: 700r4
IAC Valve??????
I checked the tech page for this information because my car goes low in idle and cuts off when driving slow but the link does not work!!!! I was just wondering what it does, where it is, and if it would make my maro stop cutting off!!!! any explanations and pictures???

what it does?
It controls the volume of idle air admitted to the intake. It is a straight pintle valve operated by a stepper motor (linear positioning motor). the Stepper is controlled by the ECM. A dirty IAC can cause significant idle problems.
