A heater hose will never get hot enough to cause you a prob. With manifolds, it seems, getting longer wires and going under them works. With hedders some kind of aftermarket wire ties... 'made for you' seems hot, but I have good luck with R&M mounting them staggered... The bolts are hard to get at, but once you clamp them down where you want them, they will stay away from the heat. Manifolds are the only thing I would seriously worry about. Heater lines are only around 220 degrees. They could even rest on them and i wouldn't worry. Manifolds/hedders are the ultimate wire killers.

You also don't want to run your wires in long lengths together such as zip tying them all together. it may cause a mis-fire if using substandard wires (spiral is the best for most apps)

Hope it helps...

if you're worried about heat on your wires there are several differant insulating sleeves made for them, plus wire seperators. the headers are what you really want to watch out for.
