Car's been sitting for 6 months... soon to drive, what to do?
Well, my tranny died December 23 of last year, and the car has been sitting in my driveway since. I start it and let it warm up every week or so, and test all the lights, wipers, etc.
I got new tires for it and put them on the other day; only to find that my brand new rotors are rustier than my 1/4 panels. This leads me to my question:
What should I do before driving this thing?

Pull out the grease gun a lube everything, and check the tires for flat spots.

I got new tires (see my other post... are my tires too small
), and the shop that's putting in my tranny Friday is gonna lube everything.
Anything else?
I saw a chipmunk run under my hood the other day, but my friend said that they don't chew wires, just mice. I sure hope that's true!!
