wrong heads?

What heads should an 87 Z28 with a carb'd LG4 have? I have the 081s, which are supposed to be good, correct? Wouldn't the LG4 have crappy heads? Is there a possibility someone swapped them?

Those are the right heads for your engine, and they are good heads. The LG4's deficiencies aren't in the heads, but in the cam and exhaust system. The lazy computer programing doesn't help either.
