oil pressure
oil pressure
i had asked earlier about my 84 TA 304 4bbl not getting any pressure at the guage....well there is no place around here where i can get anything to test it with but i noticed that under the valve cover its not really freshly soaked in oil....but there was alot of oil being shot into my air cleaner from the breather hose that goes into the valve cover......so i hope u guys can give me some ideas....
Get a new pcv valve(couple bucks)which should take care of the oil on the air filter. As far as your oil pressure,if your car still runs ok than it's probably just the sending unit.

You can buy(or possibly rent) an oil pressure gauge that threads into the hole where the sending unit goes. That way you can test it. My guess is that the sending unit is bad.
