recently i bought an 84 trans am, it has a 305 lg4 engine with 131,000 miles on it,the speedometer doesnt work and neither does the trip odometer, i want to fix these things but i dont really know how to get to them, i know you have to take the dash pad off but thats about it, can you explain a little more or show me a diagram? also my friend has a totaled 89 firebird, would his speedo fit in my car? it goes to 120 and i like that better than my 85mph. could i change his tailights for mine? what kind of horsepower does my LG4 have and how fast is it 0-60? whats its 1/4 mile time if anyone knows? damn this is long thanks for the help in advance, also it smokes alot from the tailpipes and i think the seals are bad, how much does this cost to replace? is there any thing else i can do? thanks in advance.
