Vacuum line not needed?

I have removed the cruise control unit since it didn't work anyway. There is a rather large vaccuum line that went to the unit that goes through the firewall. I know I can cut off the large plug that went to the cruise, but what about this vacuum line. Does anyone know where it goes and if it still is suppose to do anything. I am uncluttering the engine bay and every little bit helps. Thanks for any help on this.

there is a vac line that runs to ur break peddle, that goes through fire wall and is significantly larger then the other vac lines in the engine bay... check on top of ur break peddle, if that is the one ur talking about you can just unplug it and pull it out through the fire wall.

That has to be it. I get it now. It shut off the cruise when you touched the brake. OK. Thanks.:hail:
