140 AMP alternator and 16 volt batteries?

Can we just swap in a 140 amp B4C alternator into our cars without any other mods? Also,
same question for a 16 volt battery?

Anyone done these mods lately?

Thanks!

I thought the B4C was 120 AMP like the TTA.

you can swap in the alternator w/o a problem but not the battery. there is a special alternator you have to run and special wiring.

like the previous posts the alt. won't be a problem but the 16 volt battery will. Becuase of this, your alt. charges a normal 12 volt battery at about 13-14 volts. without the alt having a higher voltage the battery won't charge. You would mostly likely have to get an alt. with an adjustable regulator (really fun with a system in your car ) or a regulator that is set at like 17-18 volts. One thing to watch out for is that you might fry your on-board electronics if you have a voltage above like 17-18.
